“Altared Mornings”

This is a Middle School Bible Study on Sunday Mornings  in The Block during the Sunday morning services at 8:45am and 10:45am.  Student’s currently join the main service for worship and announcements, then leave the service during the “Stand and Greet” to meet in The Block for age appropriate teaching.  Here too, as in The Armory, it is my hope to equip and prepare High School Students to face the battle ground of life with courage, confidence and love.   Why prepared…? 1 Peter 3:15, “But in your heats set apart Christ as Lord.  Always be prepared to give a reason for the hope that you have.  But do this with gentleness and respect,”  Why equipped…?  2 Tim 3:17, “All scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.”  However the lessons are more geared to their age group and issues they would face, while not washing down the truth of the Word.

The first service is taught by Mr Mike O’Neil who is in a study in Hebrews .  The second service, which is taught by Pastor Sean, is  doing “Pause” a study on prayer and the character of God with extended times of corporate prayer.
